"The Prank" follows the story of three college friends who team up to pull a prank on their coach. Each has their own personal reason for wanting to get back at the coach, making this the perfect opportunity to settle the score and have some fun along the way.
But their plan takes an unexpected turn, and they find themselves caught red-handed by the Coach. Now, the tables have turned, and the friends must think quickly to avoid disciplinary action. Each of them must plead their case, hoping their words will sway the Coach's judgment.
What will they say? How far will they go to defend themselves? That’s for you to decide.

For anyone encountering the bug with the second to last scene not unlocking, open the 'game' directory (It's in the same folder as 'ThePrank.exe') and open 'script.rpy' in a text editor. Change line 3837 from
to
The 'T' must be uppercase, the others lowercase. Restart the game if it is running, then play through the game as normal until you reach the scene and it will now unlock.
I will fix that in the main file soon, but right now I'm focused on "The prank 2"
A rather complex game for a game jam - animations, choices, 13 whole scenes, several endings. There are plenty of games that do less without time restraints. I am impressed.
That said...
The animations are sometimes very stiff and don't always make sense logically or physically.
The differences between different stages of a cut-scene are miniscule.
Facial expressions are sometimes too animated and hard to read, since the actual emotion for the situation blinks for only a second before the face goes back to seemingly random idle changes).
I have some notes about some inconsistencies in the writing, but being seriously critical of a porn plot would be silly, so it gets a pass.
And the character bodies for Hjort and Raev look completely different in idle stances and in cut-scenes - you be the judge which ones are off-model.
But, like I said, this is a nice little porn game that does more than could be expected of a game jam entry.
The bugs I found:
1. Hjort's ending's scene just doesn't unlock in the scenes, no matter how many times I get the ending.
2. Raev's turn is bugged and him talking to Coach part plays twice - first when you pick it, then after the Hjort/Gylden scene plays out.
3. After playing a scene from the gallery where characters undress, they stay undressed if you start a new game.
4. In Raev's dildo scene, pressing 'change scene' shows you the screen where he already, well, arrived, instead of the animation.
5. Picking 'Celebration' ending from the gallery and selecting 'animation' will still play the scene. If you also pick 'Don't celebrate' then after the ending, the game will instantly start from the beginning.
There was also some scene where I could switch to the 'second couple' and it was just an empty white screen, since it wasn't the 'Celebration' ending, but I forgot which scene it was.
To the developer:
I know this might seem unimportant, since you're already working on another game, but this one is going to stay your only game for a while longer, so you might want to fix the bugs anyway. They don't seem too complicated and supporting your titles does wonders for one's reputation. And vice versa. You do NOT want to be known as 'that dev who publishes bugged games and never fixes them'.

Great game. I am slightly sad the coach isn't verse and the students apparently (I haven't unlocked everything) don't get to top him.
Really great game I have to say! I can't believe this has been out since 2 months and I didn't know of it.
Apparently itch io hid it from me otherwise I would have seen this much earlier. That must also be the reason why this game is so underrated right now even though the quality is so good.
Anyways the things I appreciated the most are the facial expressions which were a breath of frech air and the camera work although I would appreciate it if every scene had a full view option.
I don't know if only I had that problem but the hitbox of the save windows is so big that it's hard to switch pages without accidently clicking on a save.
I am looking forward to part 2 and thank you for your work.
How do i unlock the other 3 sex scenes??
2 row 2 pic - Gylden riding the dildo. As Gylden, say that getting a dildo up your butt is not a big deal, then prove it.
3 row 1 pic - Gylden ending, look through comments for a specific walkthrough to get it.
3 row 2 pic - Hjort ending, Right now it doesn't seem to unlock, even when you get the ending.
It's just Hjort's ending, it doesn't unlock in the gallery when you get it, it's bugged.
Ok, so after a quite bit of trial and error I managed to get both Gylden and Raev's endings, and since I've seen that other people here seem to be having a difficult time getting their endings I decided to put the order of the options I picked to get their endings since getting their endings seems to be weirdly harder to get then Hjort's.
(I'll add notes when necessary an if I put an '*' it's because it's the option I chose but you can probably pick the other options that don't give appreciation and you should be fine)

I think the characters is really hot.
But sex screen dialogue is kind of copy and paste the same situation too much and lack the soul after repeat the same pattern again for four time...
It just my opinion but it would be better to make them have more variety of characteristics.
Having a lot of difficulty getting Gylden's ending. I keep seeing the advice of 'if you get "coach appreciated that" you'll get that character's ending' but that's not working. Is there another specific thing you have to do to get the ending?
I'm not sure is this work but it qork for me.
But avoiding distraction by have sex with coach for the character you plan to got the ending with him.
And let the other character distraction him with sex instead.
While gain the gratitude to the only character you plan to have that ending with him alone.

I can't get the Raev and Gylden endings. Can anybody tell how to get it?
There is a small notice in the corner of the screen that says "coach appreciated that". This is the indicator of who's ending you're getting. Try doing another playthrough where you focus on getting those for Raev and Gylden
Every time when i get this appretiation only on Gylden of Raev i end up on celebration ending. Even if i make different correlations of appretiations on different characters its always celebration end.

Fun, hot, little game. Total slice of life fantasy sim.
I enjoyed the game a lot. Every character really does feel different and interesting. Its super horny and the scenes are all very good.
I just got a little bit lost when trying to get all the endings as I cant figure out what the little indicator in the top left that says "Coach appreciates X" means. Does it make the coach more or less likely to pick the character as guildy of the prank?

No spoilers about the actual routes for now, but there are four endings in total. Three for Coach blaming each one of the students, and a *happy ending* where Coach decides to just let it go.
Each ending unlocks - well, is supposed to unlock a scene, which is one of the last four in the gallery.
However, as cr01's comment states (which I can confirm as well), Hjort's ending now has a bug.
Thought it was great. I think there might be a bug where Hjort's ending with the coach doesn't unlock? I unlocked all other scenes and I can see the special scene with Hjort + coach but it doesn't unlock in the gallery.
