One of the most important aspects of developing a project like this is ensuring it has a distinct vibe. A lot of that vibe comes down to the kind of setting I give my characters.

Luckily, since this is a sequel, I already have a good idea of the setting and tone I want. That being said, I still have to create these backgrounds from scratch.

I've spent a lot of time trying to perfect the look, focusing on blending hand-drawn and 3D elements to achieve the style I envisioned.

The most important thing for me with these backgrounds is making sure the characters feel organic to the space. I wanted something that feels both lived-in and pristine at the same time. Hopefully, I've accomplished that.

Now that I have the sets where the characters can move around, the next step is to give them something meaningful to do.
